print out a copy of the road map further down the page so you won’t get lost. Whether you're whitewater rafting or kayaking this area has a large number of paddling rivers. A bit of exercise and a chance to spend some time
outdoors will make you glad you came. You can pitch a tent or park your RV at a nearby campground. The beauty of the Northern Cascade Range is a great plus for this river. The average whitewater rafting or kayaking river tends to be a bit harder to master in this state than those in other states, so you'd better keep in mind that quite a few of the sections here are not easy. The nearby hotels are a bit away from the river, and if you make
reservations in advance you're all set. On this section you do get some distance, it's good length for a morning trip. There are some good sections to paddle in this river system, the Vail Loop Road to Military Road section is one of them. The nature scenery of Thurston County and the cool fresh water beats anything.

Briefly about the general area:
At Deschutes River you always meet someone from Rainier; naturally, everyone loves Ike Kinswa State Park. Whohoo, so much enjoyable stuff in one place! The Northern Cascade Range is unbeatable!. Throughout the warm months, highs ordinarily are in the 70's at Deschutes River.
