  The natural beauty of King County and the sparkling of the sunlight on the water are reasons enough to come here and paddle. Whitewater rafting and kayaking spots in Washington tend to be more challenging than the national average, so you'd better keep in mind that many runs in this state are not easy. A bit of exercise and spending some quality time in nature will make you glad you came. Since you're on this site you are probably into whitewater
    rafting or kayaking, either way around here you'll find a large number of good places. The put-in is not too far from Seattle-Tacoma-Bellevue, if you're not familiar with the area there's a road map further down the page.
The Flaming Geyser State Park to 212 Way SE Bridge stretch of Green River is 2.8 miles long and it is classified as a class II section by American Whitewater. There are plenty of other stretches in this river system that can be paddled as well. This is a short paddling stretch so it's not like you're gonna spend hours on the river in one stretch. There are campgrounds quite near the river where you can camp.

A short visit to Diamond Springs is always worthwhile; as expected, everyone loves Nolte State Park. You'll meet a lot of people from Black Diamond here, and a trip to Flaming Geyser State Park revitalizes the spirit. This river is so good. Alexander Beach is a beach right next door to Green River that you can visit. High temperatures at Green River through the warm days of summer are in the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures sink down into the 50's. Highs through the winter are mostly in the 40's while Green River night low temperatures through the winter are in the 30's.
