The average whitewater rafting or kayaking river tends to be a bit harder to master in this state than those in other states, so you'd better keep in     mind that rivers here are less forgiving. A bit of exercise and a chance to spend some time outdoors will make you glad you came. The Lower section of Hangman Creek is 7.5 miles long and has been determined by American Whitewater to be a class II+ section. This is one of a small number of paddling stretches in this river system, there are a few others too. There are plenty of hotels here if you want to spend a night, but if you don’t have reservations you might end up sleeping in your car. This section is long enough to enjoy a good non stop paddle, suitable for an afternoon trip. Briefly about the general area: A glorious place next to Hangman Creek is Hangman   Valley, and Riverside State Park is both pleasant and stunning. A journey to Hangman Creek wouldn't be complete without taking a look at Spokane Falls. Hangman Creek is not far at all from Spokane. Hangman Creek is pretty dried up regularly. December is when you get the most snow here; the driest month of the year is July. Throughout the summertime months highs here at Hangman Creek reach the 80's, and the night is a tad cooler of course, regularly in the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 30's, and nighttime lows in the 20's for Hangman Creek.
