  The Moulton Falls to Lewisville Park section of Lewis River - East Fork is 11.5 miles long and is rated by American Whitewater as a class III+(V) section. Whitewater rafting and kayaking spots in Washington tend to be more challenging than the national average, so keep in mind that quite a few of the sections here are not easy. The scenic beauty of Washington and the water flowing gracefully down Lewis River - East Fork are reasons enough
    to come here and paddle. Getting a good workout and spending some quality time in nature will have you coming back for more. The starting point is not too far from Portland-Vancouver-Beaverton, as you can see on the road
map further down. This section has enough mileage for an overnight trip, so pack your camping stuff. Whether you're whitewater rafting or kayaking around here you'll find a large number of good rivers. The Moulton Falls to Lewisville Park section is one of many paddling sections in this river system. There's camping available near Lewis River - East Fork. The nearby hotels are a bit away from the river, but you'd better reserve in advance  
because these hotels fill up quick. When you're paddling down a Northern Cascade Range river like this one you always get great scenery along the way too.

Briefly about the general area:
On a great day at Lewis River - East Fork you can take a hike along the Georges Peak Trail. Battle Ground Lake State Park is a great spot to stretch your legs a bit, and if you want to hit the beach, Sundial Beach is around here. This river is so good. While you're here at Lewis River - East Fork you will meet lots of folks from nearby Yacolt. On a good day it's a wonderful idea to spend the day at Broughton Beach, and Lucia Falls is always fun to check out.
