This stretch of Little Washougal River is 6.8 miles long and has been determined by American Whitewater to be a class II-III(IV) section. On this section you do get some distance, it's good length for a morning trip. If you've been whitewater rafting and kayaking outside this state you might find the rivers     here a bit more challenging, so better not forget that many of the rivers here are not very forgiving. Great exercise and spending some quality time in nature have people coming from far and near. Some people prefer whitewater rafting and some kayaking, either way this area has a large number of paddling spots. If you'll be staying in a hotel you're in luck, lodging is available very near the river, but do book a room before you come because it is a very popular destination. The scenic beauty of Washington and the water flowing gracefully down Little Washougal River will make you feel great. This river system has a few good paddling stretches and the Boulder Creek   to Washougal River section is one of them. And of course, there are campgrounds nearby. The beauty of the Northern Cascade Range is a great plus for this river.
