  The Fall Creek to Lake Creek Campground section of Little Wenatchee River in Washington is 3.5 miles long and is according to American Whitewater a class IV-V section of whitewater. The nature scenery of Washington and the cool fresh water attract people from near and far. Whitewater rafting and kayaking spots in Washington are harder than the national norm, so if you're visiting here do keep in mind that many of the sections here are
    not safe for beginners. The put-in location is a reasonable drive from Ellensburg, please print out a copy of the road map further down the page so you won’t get lost. There aren’t any hotels right nearby but if you're willing
to drive a short distance then no problem but if you don’t have reservations you might end up sleeping in your car. Getting a good workout and just being out on the river for a while are great attractions for lots of people. The campgrounds here at Little Wenatchee River are pretty good. This is a somewhat short section so you'd better be prepared to walk your kayak back to put-in a few times. The Fall Creek to Lake Creek Campground section  
is one of a few paddling sections in this river system. The river winds through the Northern Cascade Range and you get great scenery. Whether you're whitewater rafting or kayaking around here you'll find a large number of good spots.

Briefly about the general area:
Little Wenatchee River is close to Wenatchee National Forest which is a delightful place. All the water falling down from the sky makes Little Wenatchee River a wet site. Of all the months in a year January is the one with the most snow; the driest month is July. At Little Wenatchee River during the summertime months highs are in the 60's, and all through the night it cools down to the 40's.
