The put-in is not too far from Hood River, please print out a copy of the road map further down the page so you won’t get lost. This stretch of McCoy Creek in Lewis County is 7.8 miles long and is a class V section of whitewater according to American Whitewater. The nature scenery of Washington and the cool fresh water are reasons enough to come here and paddle. A good workout and spending some quality time in nature are sure to keep you coming |
back for more. There are campgrounds quite near the river where you can camp. Whether you're whitewater rafting or kayaking this area has a large number of paddling places. This stretch is mid length, suitable for an afternoon
