  The nature scenery of King County and the cool fresh water have people coming here. The along FR 6412 stretch of Miller River - East Fork in Washington is 1 miles long and is a class V section of whitewater according to American Whitewater. A bit of exercise and just being out on the river for a while will make you glad you came. This is a very short stretch so it's not like you're gonna spend hours on the river in one stretch. Whitewater
    rafting and kayaking in Washington is often tougher than elsewhere, so if you're visiting here do keep in mind that the rivers in this state are less manageable. There are so many stretches to paddle in this river system,
the along FR 6412 stretch is just one of many. You can pitch a tent or park your RV at a nearby campground. The Northern Cascade Range scenery is wonderful. Not too many hotels nearby, you'll have to drive a bit to get to one, but you'd better reserve in advance because these hotels fill up quick. Since you're on this site you are probably into whitewater rafting or kayaking, either way this area has a large number of paddling spots. The  
put-in location is a short drive from Seattle-Tacoma-Bellevue, as you can see on the road map further down.

Briefly about the general area:
You'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Stevens Pass if you're here. On a splendid day at Miller River - East Fork you can take a hike along the Pratt Lake Trail; you could always explore Camp Robber Valley. At this river you will always have a good time. You'll meet a lot of people from Skykomish here, and if the weather is good, you can go for a hike along the Middle Fork Trail. Put some time aside to spend at Florence Falls since you're here at Miller River - East Fork.
