The beautiful scenery of Pacific County and the water flowing gracefully down Naselle River - North Fork have people coming here. The put-in location is a short drive from Astoria, please print out a copy of the road map further down the page so you won’t get lost. Whitewater rafting and kayaking spots in this state tend to be more challenging than the national
    average, so keep in mind that lots of rivers here are not for beginners. No matter if you're whitewater rafting or kayaking in this general area you won't find many other paddling rivers. You can pitch a tent or park your
RV at a nearby campground. This river system has a few good paddling stretches and the Quarry to Brock Creek section is one of them. Not too many hotels nearby, you'll have to drive a bit to get to one, but you'd better reserve in advance because these hotels fill up quick. The Quarry to Brock Creek section of Naselle River - North Fork in Pacific County is 5 miles long and is rated by American Whitewater as a class III-IV(V+) section.  
This section is long enough to enjoy a good non stop paddle, good for a one day paddling trip. Getting some good exercise and spending some quality time in nature will make you glad you came. Whitewater paddling here in the Olympic Mountains is a great experience.

Briefly about the general area:
Naselle River - North Fork is not far at all from Naselle. At Naselle River - North Fork during the warm days of summer highs are in the 60's, and throughout summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. High temperatures through the winter are normally in the 40's, and after the sun is down during the wintertime temperatures at Naselle River - North Fork descend into the 30's.
