| you might find the rivers here more demanding, so you'd better keep in mind that many of the sections here are not safe for beginners. There aren’t any hotels right nearby but if you're willing to drive a short distance then no problem but you'd better reserve in advance because these hotels fill up quick. Briefly about the general area: Mt.Baker has fine slopes and a friendly staff. A large amount of rainfall falls at Nooksack River - North Fork. Of all the months in a year November is
the one with the most rain, and July is the month with the least moisture. Throughout the warm days of summer highs here at Nooksack River - North Fork reach the 70's, and during the night it cools down to the 50's.
