of whitewater. On this section you do get some distance, good for a one day paddling trip. Some people prefer whitewater rafting and some kayaking, either way around here you won't find a large number of other rivers. Getting
| a good workout and a chance to spend some time outdoors have people coming from far and near. The Palouse Falls State Park to Lyons Ferry State Park stretch is one of a few paddling stretches in this river system. The beautiful scenery of Washington and the playfulness of the water are reasons enough to come here and paddle. reservations you might end up sleeping in your car. Whitewater rafting and kayaking in this state is often more difficult than elsewhere, so if you're not from around here don't forget that many of the rivers here are not
very forgiving.
Briefly about the general area: It's always good to stop by Palouse Falls, and obviously, everyone loves Palouse Falls State Park. Nearby Winn Lake Canyon is a good location to go if you're at
Palouse River, and Lyons Ferry State Park is a splendid location. If you come to this river you will have a good time for sure. Don't leave Palouse River without first paying a visit to Falls Spring, and at Palouse River you always meet someone from Washtucna.
