The put-in is not too far from Seattle-Tacoma-Bellevue, as you can see on the road map further down. This section of Puyallup River in Pierce County is 6.1 miles long and has been determined by American Whitewater to be a class I-II section. This river system is full of great paddling stretches, the McMillin to Puyallup stretch is just one of them. The average Washington whitewater rafting or kayaking river tends to be a bit harder to master than those in other states, so if you're visiting here do keep in mind that many of the rivers here are not very forgiving.
