Briefly about the general area: At Queets River you always meet
someone from Amanda Park, and you can have a nice hiking adventure along the Bogachiel-Hoh Trail. Life's too short to enjoy all the amusing stuff in the Olympic Mountains. Going for a hike along the Bogachiel Trail will
let you absorb the natural beauty of this area. A good deal of precipitation falls at Queets River. For the duration of the month of December you get the most rain around here, and August on the other hand is the driest.
