The Road end to Beckler River section of Rapid River is 3.6 miles long and is rated by American Whitewater as a class IV section. Briefly about the general area: The best way to spend
a winter day is on the slopes of nearby Stevens Pass. Go for a hike on the Lost Creek Ridge Trail, and if you're visiting from Skykomish, you won't be the only one. This river is so great. close to Rapid River you'll discover
a wooded area called Skykomish Ranger District. Summertime highs at Rapid River ordinarily tend to be in the 70's. Once the sun is down it drops down to the 50's.
