The scenic beauty of Clark County and the playfulness of the water are reasons enough to come here and paddle. Whitewater rafting and kayaking in Washington is often more difficult than elsewhere, so keep in mind that rivers here are less forgiving. There are campgrounds quite near the     river where you can camp. The nearby hotels are a bit away from the river, and if you make reservations in advance you're all set. The river winds through the Northern Cascade Range and you get great scenery. This is a somewhat short section so better bring some good walking shoes.
