This is one of a small number of paddling stretches in this river system, there are a few others too. Briefly about the general area: Big Gulch is
a nice place to visit close by, and a spree to Wallace Falls State Park invigorates the soul. Yep, outdoors entertaining stuff truly is abundant here in the Northern Cascade Range. The snow is magnificent at Stevens Pass,
and Silver Creek is not far at all from Baring. This is such a wonderful river. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 70's to Silver Creek.
