This stretch of Skykomish River - North Fork is 12.5 miles long and it is classified as a class IV section by American Whitewater. The nature scenery of Snohomish County and the sparkling of the sunlight on the water are reasons enough to come here and paddle. The Bear Creek to South Fork confluence stretch is one of many paddling stretches in this river system. Whitewater paddling here in the Northern Cascade Range is a great experience. |

Briefly about the general area: Big Gulch is a great place to explore; while you're here you will meet lots
of people from nearby Baring. And if that's not enough there's loads more amusing things to do in the Northern Cascade Range. The skiing at Stevens Pass is good. The warmest time of the year at Skykomish River - North Fork
