  Whitewater rafting and kayaking in Washington is often more difficult than elsewhere, so don't forget that a lot of the rivers here are not suitable for beginners. The nature scenery of Washington and the sparkling of the sunlight on the water are reasons enough to come here and paddle. The starting point is not too far from Seattle-Tacoma-Bellevue, please print out a copy of the road map further down the page so you won’t get lost. This
    section of Snoqualmie River is 1 miles long and it is classified as a class II+ section by American Whitewater. If you're a camper you can camp at one of the great campgrounds nearby. The Northern Cascade Range scenery is
wonderful. No matter if you're whitewater rafting or kayaking this is an area with plenty of rivers for that. This river system is full of great paddling stretches, the Snoqualmie Falls to Plum's Landing stretch is just one of them. A good workout and just hanging out with mother nature will have you coming back for more. This is a very short stretch so you'll have to walk back to the start over and over. There are plenty of hotels here  
if you want to spend a night, and if you make reservations in advance you're all set.

Briefly about the general area:
If you're going to Snoqualmie River from Snoqualmie, you won't be the only one, and Snoqualmie Falls is a beautiful location to check out while you're at Snoqualmie River. Having a perfect time in the Northern Cascade Range is simple. A tour to Nolte State Park revitalizes the spirit, and Kanaskat-Palmer State Park is a fine site. If you come to this river you will have a good time for sure. High temperatures at Snoqualmie River through the warm months are in the 70's.
