- North Fork are reasons enough to come here and paddle. For all you camping people there are campgrounds nearby. Not too many hotels nearby, you'll have to drive a bit to get to one, but you'd better reserve in advance
because these hotels fill up quick.
Briefly about the general area: Why not take a refreshing hike along the Mount Defiance Trail, and Kanaskat-Palmer State Park is both good and lovely. Be careful coming to the
Northern Cascade Range, you might not ever wanna go back home again. Snoqualmie River - North Fork is not far at all from North Bend, and Olallie State Park is a glorious place to go to on a beautiful day.
