If you've been out of state whitewater rafting and kayaking you might find the rivers here more demanding, so keep in mind that a lot of the rivers here are not suitable     for beginners. The campgrounds here at Snoqualmie River - South Fork are pretty good. No matter if you're whitewater rafting or kayaking in this general area you'll find lots of paddling spots. A bit of exercise and just being out on the river for a while are great reasons to come. The wonderful King County scenery and the sparkling of the sunlight on the water make the trip here worthwhile. The beauty of the Northern Cascade Range is a great plus for this river. This is a pretty decent length section, you can easily run it on an afternoon. The Twin Falls State Park to 436 st Bridge section is one of many paddling sections in this river system. The nearby   hotels are a bit away from the river, but do book a room before you come because it is a very popular destination. Briefly about the general area: Hiking along the Mount Defiance Trail is wonderful fun; Olallie State Park is a good site to stretch your legs a bit. That right there is a lot of entertaining things already but it goes on, the Northern Cascade Range has it all. People from North Bend love to come to Snoqualmie River - South Fork, and Kanaskat-Palmer State Park is a stunning location any time of year. This river has it all. High temperatures at Snoqualmie River - South Fork through the summer months are in the 70's while nighttime lows are typically in the 50's.
