  This section of Tilton River - North Fork in Washington is 2.5 miles long and has been determined by American Whitewater to be a class IV section. The natural beauty of Washington and the cool fresh water attract people from near and far. The starting location is a short drive from Centralia, please print out a copy of the road map further down the page so you won’t get lost. Getting some good exercise and spending some quality time in
    nature have a lot of people coming here. The beauty of the Northern Cascade Range is a great plus for this river. No matter if you're whitewater rafting or kayaking around here you'll find a large number of good places.
Whitewater rafting and kayaking in Washington is often tougher than elsewhere, so better not forget that many of the sections here are not safe for beginners. This is not the only paddling section in this river system, there are others too. There aren’t any hotels right nearby but if you're willing to drive a short distance then no problem but do book a room before you come because it is a very popular destination. And of course, there are campgrounds  
nearby. This section is quite short so it's not like you're gonna spend hours on the river in one stretch.
