The FR 43 to Wind River section of Trout Creek in Skamania County is 6.3 miles long and has been rated as a class IV-V section by American Whitewater. The starting location is a reasonable drive from Hood River, if you're not familiar with the area there's a road map further down the page. Yeon State Park when you're here at Trout Creek is a perfect idea, and Trout Creek is a spot with many visitors from North Bonneville.
