about the general area: Here at Arbuckle Creek there are plenty of folks from Minden, and popping by Babcock State Park is a glorious thing to do. If you haven’t been to Bluestone National Scenic River, you have to schedule
some time for it if you're here. A splendid site like Hawks Nest State Park in close proximity to Arbuckle Creek is too good to leave out. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 80's to Arbuckle Creek. During the
moonlight hours it's regularly in the 60's. Highs through the wintertime are mostly in the 40's; overnight lows through the wintertime for Arbuckle Creek tend to be in the 20's.
