The put-in location is a short drive from Beckley, if you're not familiar with the area there's a road map further down the page. The wonderful Raleigh County scenery and the sparkling of the sunlight on the water make the trip here worthwhile. There are campgrounds quite near the river where     you can camp. The nearby hotels are a bit away from the river, but do book a room before you come because it is a very popular destination.
