Not too many hotels nearby, you'll have to drive a bit to get to one, but you'd better reserve in advance because these hotels fill up quick. No matter if you're whitewater rafting or kayaking around here you'll find a large number of good spots. This   stretch has has enough mileage, you can easily run it on an afternoon. Briefly about the general area: Bell Hollow is a wonderful place to discover, and Buffalo Creek is right by the Pheasant Mountain Trail. Here at Buffalo Creek there are plenty of folks from Tunnelton; the Shingle Tree Trail offers hiking at its best. This river is a wonderful place to visit. Buffalo Creek gets a typical amount of annual precipitation. July is the month that gets the most rain, and the driest of the months is February. High temperatures at Buffalo Creek during the summer are in the 80's.
