Briefly
about the general area: A tour to Lost Paddle Rapids will fill your spirit with good feelings, and visiting Babcock State Park is a glorious thing to do. Don't leave Gauley River without first paying a visit to Pillow
Rock Rapids; there's good hiking along the Carnifex Trail. This is a great river. People from Mount Lookout love to come to Gauley River, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Gauley River; Way Back Trail is a wonderful local trail.
