This section of Greenbrier River in West Virginia is 7.2 miles long and has been determined by American Whitewater to be a class I(III) section. The put-in is not too far from Blacksburg-Christiansburg-Radford. This is a pretty decent length section, it's perfect for a one day trip.     There are plenty of other sections in this river system that can be paddled as well. The beautiful scenery of West Virginia and the playfulness of the water are reasons enough to come here and paddle. The nearby hotels are a bit away from the river, and if you make reservations in advance you're all set. Whether you're whitewater rafting or kayaking this is an area with plenty of spots for that.
