  The Talcott to Willowood bridge stretch of Greenbrier River in West Virginia is 11.1 miles long and has been rated as a class I-II(III) section by American Whitewater. The starting point is not too far from Blacksburg-Christiansburg-Radford. This section has enough mileage for an overnight trip, so why not pack your sleeping bag too. The natural beauty of Summers County and the sparkling of the sunlight on the water beats anything. There are so many sections
    to paddle in this river system, the Talcott to Willowood bridge section is just one of many. Getting a good workout and spending some quality time in nature are great reasons to come. If you've been out of state whitewater
rafting and kayaking you might find the rivers here more forgiving, so if you're visiting here do keep in mind that many of the rivers in this state are not very demanding. You might have to settle for a hotel a bit away from the river if you want to stay the night, but you'd better reserve in advance because these hotels fill up quick. folks of Talcott like to hang out close by; going for a hike on the Alleheny Trail is always a wonderful adventure. When you're here at Greenbrier River it's always fun to stop by Bluestone State Park, and close by you hit upon the Allegheny Trail which is a good hiking trail. At this river you will never have a bad time. Throughout the months of summer highs here at Greenbrier River get into the 80's, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. Daytime highs all through the wintertime are in the 30's while Greenbrier River nighttime low temperatures through the wintertime are in the 20's.
