Briefly about the general area: Good hiking is available along the Span Oak Trail, and naturally, A visit to Hawchen Hollow is always fun. A spree to Seneca
State Forest invigorates the spirit, and don't leave Greenbrier River - East Fork without first going for a hike along the Burner Mountain Trail. This is a really good river. Monongahela National Forest is a great place
to explore; at Greenbrier River - East Fork you always meet someone from Bartow. Greenbrier River - East Fork gets a good deal of water. The month of July is the wettest with most of the rain; February is when it's the driest.
