Whitewater rafting and kayaking in West Virginia is often easier than elsewhere, so you'd better keep in mind that the rivers in this state are less demanding. This stretch of Indian Creek in West Virginia is 7.1 miles long and is rated by American Whitewater as a class I-II section. A bit of exercise and spending some quality time in nature will have you coming     back for more. Not too many hotels nearby, you'll have to drive a bit to get to one, but if you don’t have reservations you might end up sleeping in your car. And of course, there are campgrounds nearby. Whether you're whitewater rafting or kayaking this is an area with plenty of rivers for that. The nature scenery of West Virginia and the sparkling of the sunlight on the water are reasons enough to come here and paddle. There are no other sections to paddle along Indian Creek than the Raines Corner to Greenville section. This is a pretty decent length section, it's perfect for a one day trip. Briefly about the general area: Indian Creek is a spot with many   visitors from Greenville, and hiking along the Allegheny Trail is wonderful fun. It's always great to explore Monroe County Spring; you can have a good hiking adventure along the Alleheny Trail. This is such a great river. During the days of summer at Indian Creek highs are ordinarily in the 80's with nighttime lows in the 60's. The winter brings highs down to the 30's, and overnight lows in the 20's for Indian Creek.
