Getting a good workout and a chance to spend some time outdoors are great reasons to come. The nearby hotels are a bit away from the river, but do book a room before you come because it is a very popular destination. Some people prefer whitewater rafting and some kayaking, either way in this general area you'll find lots of paddling   spots. There's camping available near Little Kanawha River - Right Fork. Don't leave Little Kanawha River - Right Fork without first going for a hike along the Big Run Trail. Pheasant Hollow is near Little Kanawha River - Right Fork and is positively a wonderful spot to pop by, and you can go for a hike on the Pocahontas Trail. If you come to this river you will have a good time for sure.
