The beautiful scenery of Fayette County and the water flowing gracefully down Loop Creek make the trip here worthwhile. The rivers for whitewater rafting and kayaking in this state are often easier than in other states, so if you're visiting here do keep in mind that rivers in this state are not as hard as elsewhere. down the page. You can pitch a tent or park your RV at a nearby campground. This section is long enough to enjoy a good non stop paddle, good for a one day paddling trip. You might be into whitewater rafting or kayaking

National Scenic River is just something you need to do if you haven't yet; the smiling people of Deep Water like to hang out close by. A delightful site like Hawks Nest State Park in the neighborhood of Loop Creek is too
good to leave out. The high level of rainfall makes Loop Creek a quite wet location. Through July this area sees the most rain; the driest month is October. For the period of the summer months at Loop Creek highs are mostly
in the 80's while night lows are regularly in the 60's. All through the wintertime the highs are usually in the 40's with winter lows in the 20's overnight here at Loop Creek.
