destinations that are wonderful to pop by close by. This river is so perfect. Babcock State Park is a good site to stop at, and Mill Creek - New River Tributary is a site with many visitors from Ansted. There's glorious
hiking along the Carnifex Trail. The high level of rain makes Mill Creek - New River Tributary a quite wet location. Through July this area sees the most rain; February is when it's the driest.
