The nature scenery of West Virginia and the cool fresh water make the trip here worthwhile. You might have to settle for a hotel a bit away from the river if you want to stay the night, but you'd better reserve in advance because these hotels fill up quick. Whether you're whitewater     rafting or kayaking there are lots of good spots for that around here. Whitewater rafting and kayaking spots in this state tend to be more forgiving than the national average, so don't forget that many runs in this state are very easy.
