The Scherr to Dam section of Patterson Creek - North Fork is 8.2 miles long and has been determined by American Whitewater to be a class I-III section. If you're coming from Cumberland it's not a long drive at all to the put-in location, please print out a copy of the road map

for an afternoon trip.
