Not too many hotels nearby, you'll have to drive a bit to get to one, but if you don’t have reservations you might end up sleeping in your car. The Pineknob to confluence of Marsh Fork of Big Coal River section is one of a few paddling sections in this river system. Briefly   about the general area: Nearby Rollyson Hollow is a perfect spot to go if you're at Peachtree Creek, and Twin Falls Resort State Park is both great and picturesque. There are plenty of people from Rock Creek here at Peachtree Creek. For the period of the warm months here at Peachtree Creek, high temperatures commonly get into the 80's. Throughout the moonlight hours it's ordinarily in the 60's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 40's, and nighttime lows in the 20's for Peachtree Creek.
