you stumble on the Standing Branch Horse Trail which is a good hiking trail. A tour to Scott Branch Springs will fill your soul with pleasant feelings, and there is a tremendous hiking trail nearby called the Ripple Trail.
A river like this is too good to miss. The good people of Peterstown like to hang out close by. Through the months of summer highs here at Rich Creek reach the 80's. Once the sun is down it plunges down to the 50's. Daytime
highs through the winter are in the 40's; night lows during the wintertime for Rich Creek tend to be in the 20's. From a rain point of view Rich Creek is a rather common spot.
