This section of Devil's River is 3.9 miles long and is a class II-III section of whitewater according to American Whitewater. The average Wisconsin whitewater rafting or kayaking river tends     to be easier to run than those in other states, so if you're not from around here don't forget that the rivers in this state are less demanding. Some people prefer whitewater rafting and some kayaking, either way around here you won't find a large number of other places. There's camping available near Devil's River. Getting some good exercise and a chance to spend some time outdoors are great reasons to come. The Pleasant Road to Highway 147 stretch is one of a few paddling stretches in this river system. This is a short paddling stretch so better bring some good walking shoes. Briefly about the general area: The best way to spend a winter day   is on the slopes of close by Hidden Valley, and at Devil's River you always meet someone from Maribel. Summertime highs at Devil's River commonly tend to be in the 80's. Throughout the moonlight hours it's regularly in the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 20's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Devil's River. From a rainfall point of view Devil's River is a pretty normal place. Most of the rain falls throughout June, and the driest of the months is February.
