A perfect beach close to Duncan Creek is Half Moon Beach; going for a hike along the O'Neil Creek Flowage Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region. This is such a fun river. If the weather is good here at Duncan Creek, you can go for a hike along the Hickory Ridge Trail. High temperatures at Duncan Creek during the summer months are in the 80's with night lows in the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 20's, and during the dark hours in the wintertime at Duncan Creek temperatures plunge to the 0's.
