The scenic beauty of Wisconsin and the water flowing gracefully down Embarrass River     have people coming here. You might be into whitewater rafting or kayaking or both, doesn't matter, there are lots of good rivers for that around here. There are plenty of other sections in this river system that can be paddled as well. For all you camping people there are campgrounds nearby. This section is very short so better bring some good walking shoes. You might have to settle for a hotel a bit away from the river if you want to stay the night, but if you don’t have reservations you might end up sleeping in your car. A bit of exercise and a chance to spend some time outdoors will make you glad you came. The starting point is not too far from Oshkosh-Neenah,   there's a road map further down the page with more info on that. This stretch of Embarrass River is 0.5 miles long and it is classified as a class III section by American Whitewater.
