The wonderful Outagamie County scenery and the beautiful way the water current moves down the stream will make you feel great. The 1000 Islands section of Fox River in Wisconsin is 1.5 miles long and is according to American Whitewater a class I-III(IV) section of whitewater. No matter if you're whitewater rafting or kayaking in this general area you won't     find many other paddling spots. There are some good sections to paddle in this river system, the 1000 Islands section is one of them. This section is quite short so no need to bring snacks. If you've been whitewater rafting and kayaking outside Wisconsin you might find the rivers here a bit more manageable, so keep in mind that many runs in this state are very easy. Getting some good exercise and just being out on the river for a while are great reasons to come. There are plenty of hotels here if you want to spend a night, but you'd better reserve in advance because these hotels fill up quick. There are campgrounds quite near the river where you can camp.
