If you're coming from Iron Mountain it's not a long drive at all to the put-in location, if you're not familiar with the area there's a road map further down the page. You might have to settle for a hotel a bit away from the river if you want to stay the night, but you'd better reserve in advance because     these hotels fill up quick. The FS2134 to Goodman Park Rd stretch of Peshtigo River is 6.1 miles long and is a class I-II+(III) section of whitewater according to American Whitewater. There are campgrounds quite near the river where you can camp. Since you're on this site you are probably into whitewater rafting or kayaking, either way around here you'll find a large number of good rivers. This river system is full of great paddling sections, the FS2134 to Goodman Park   Rd section is just one of them.
