This section of Pike River is 4.8 miles long and has been determined by American Whitewater to be a class I(II) section. The Petrifying Springs to Lathrop section is one of a few paddling sections in this river system. Since you're on this site you are probably into whitewater rafting or kayaking, either way around here you won't find a large number of other rivers.
