Says Ted If you're coming from Whitewater it's not a long drive at all to the put-in location, as you can see on the road map further down. The Lake Geneva to Lyons section of White River in Walworth County is 2 miles long and is a class I-II section of whitewater according to American     Whitewater. The natural beauty of Wisconsin and the water flowing gracefully down White River attract people from near and far. The average Wisconsin whitewater rafting or kayaking river tends to be a bit easier to master than those in other states, so you'd better keep in mind that many runs in this state are very easy. Some people prefer whitewater rafting and some kayaking, either way there are not so many other good places for that around here. There are plenty of hotels here if you want to spend a night, and if you make reservations in advance you're all set. The Lake Geneva to Lyons section is one of a few paddling sections in this river system. Getting   your paddling muscles activated and spending some quality time in nature are great attractions for lots of people. There are campgrounds quite near the river where you can camp. Briefly about the general area: You're sure to run into some wonderful people from Lyons here, and skiing at Grand Geneva is one of those things you just have to do. A trip to White River wouldn’t be complete without a tour to close by Big Foot Beach State Park. During your stay at White River do go to close by Wonder Center Beach. A common amount of precipitation falls here at White River. July is when you get the most rain here while February is usually the driest month.
