The only good times to paddle the yellow river is when there has been a lot of rain or early spring. The river is very rocky and descends a lot so when the water is low you will be pushing your boat across lots of rocks. It is a very fun river in high water but you have to get out when there is water or else you may not be able to go. Says Chris Nikolai
Some friends and I went Kayaking on the Yellow River on April 19th, 08 and were |
suprised at the stage of rapids that we paddled. The water is fast, deep and unforgiving. Be careful!!! Make sure you wear helmets, take tow ropes and be prepared to get wet!!! Says Tammy
