The put-in is not too far from Jackson, there's a road map further down the page with more info on that. Whether you're whitewater rafting or kayaking there are lots of good spots for that around here. Briefly about the general area: Greys River is not far at all from Alpine; since you're here why not take a look at Squaw Fork Canyon. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Greys River; Stewart Trail
is a great local trail. Greys River is pretty dry commonly. May is the wettest month with most rain, and July is the month with the least moisture. Throughout the warm months highs here at Greys River get into the 80's,
and during summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 20's; overnight lows in the 10's for Greys River.
