Wilderness Adventures

El Dorado county, California whitewater outfitter

  Whitewater outfitter

Whitewater rafting and kayaking spots in California are harder than the national norm, so better not forget that quite a few of the sections here are not easy. The scenic beauty of California and the beautiful way the water current moves down the stream are in themselves reasons enough to come here to paddle. Whether you're whitewater rafting or kayaking this is an area with plenty of spots for that. Whitewater
paddling here in the Northern Sierra Nevada is a great experience. If you're coming from Sacramento—Arden-Arcade—Roseville it's not a long drive at all to the put-in location. There are campgrounds quite near the river where
you can camp. The nearby hotels are a bit away from the river, and if you make reservations in advance you're all set. A bit of exercise and just being out on the river for a while are sure to keep you coming back for more.

Briefly about the general area:
A spree to Wilderness Adventures wouldn’t be complete without a visit to nearby Auburn State Park, and Wilderness Adventures is near Granite Canyon which is absolutely worth taking a look at.
