Whitewater rafting and kayaking spots in this state tend to be more challenging than the national average, so if you're not from around here don't forget that a lot of the rivers here are not suitable for beginners. August is the month that gets the most rain; the driest month is June. Summertime brings highs in the 80's to Canyon REO while nighttime lows are commonly in the 40's.
