Kayaks Colorado River Rafts Rentals Day Trips
The put-in location is a reasonable drive from Edwards. If you've been whitewater rafting and kayaking outside this state you might find the rivers here a bit more challenging, so if you're visiting here do keep in mind that many of the sections here are not safe for beginners. You might have to settle for a hotel a bit away from the river if you want to stay the night, |
but do book a room before you come because it is a very popular destination. For all you camping people there are campgrounds nearby. Getting your paddling muscles activated and spending some quality time in nature are sure
| to keep you coming back for more. The river winds through the Park Range and you get great scenery. The beautiful scenery of Colorado and the playfulness of the water will make you feel great. Some people prefer whitewater rafting and some kayaking, either way around here you'll find a large number of good places.
Briefly about the general area: Good hiking is available along the Red Canyon Stock Driveway; you'll meet a lot of people | |
