Whitewater rafting and kayaking spots in Colorado tend to be more challenging than the national average, so better not     forget that a lot of the rivers here are not suitable for beginners. The beautiful scenery of Chaffee County and the water flowing gracefully down Eddyline Anglers make the trip here worthwhile. Getting a good workout and just being out on the river for a while are sure to keep you coming back for more. Whitewater paddling here in the Sawatch Range is a great experience. There aren’t any hotels right nearby but if you're willing to drive a short distance then no problem but you'd better reserve in advance because these hotels fill up quick. If you're a camper you can camp at one of the great campgrounds nearby. Some people prefer whitewater rafting and some   kayaking, either way around here you'll find a large number of good spots. Briefly about the general area: Go for a hike on the Round Hill Trail, and lots of people from Nathrop come here. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Sawatch Range. Going for a hike on the Browns Creek Trail is always a tremendous adventure, and a pleasant place to explore nearby is Browns Canyon. This river is so great. Browns Canyon Warm Spring is a picturesque spot to have a look at while you're at Eddyline Anglers. Browns Grotto Warm Spring is a great local attraction.
